A band for all skill levels.
The Cygnet Area Concert Band was founded in 2009 by Band Leader, Malcolm Martin. Since then the band has grown from 3 players to over 50 and now has two separate ensembles.
What can you play?
Our band is a wind band / concert band.
The band is made up of woodwind, brass and percussion instruments. We also have have bass guitar and piano players.
If there is a specific instrument you want to play but don’t have, get in touch and we may be able to arrange something!
When and where.
The band rehearses once a week at Cygnet Sports Centre, 19 Louisa St
Cygnet, Tasmania
Our junior band starts at 3pm and runs for 50 minutes. Our senior band starts at 4pm and runs for 1hr 30mins.
